Description

Southern Cross GeoScience is offering a short course on identification, assessment and management of acid sulfate soils. This is a national training program designed for professionals involved with either developing or assessing Acid Sulfate Soil Management Plans.

The training program has been developed in conjunction with the Department of Environment and Conservation (WA) and provides a unique opportunity for proponents and assessors to discuss different aspects of managing acid sulfate soil risk.

The course will be led by Professor Leigh Sullivan, one of Australia's leading acid sulfate soil scientists. A range of academics and practitioners, experienced in acid sulfate soils assessment and management, will assist in delivering the course program.
