Its happening - Hydropolis 2012!

hydrologo This year we have teamed up with the IPWEA of Western Australia. Hydropolis 2012 will be the Stormwater Theme of the IPWEA WA State Conference.

The recent drought and concerns about climate change have all highlighted the need to manage our water resources more sustainably. Over recent years, stormwater harvesting and reuse have emerged as a valuable field in sustainable water management.

The intention of this Theme is to present and discuss theory, case studies and the future of Stormwater Harvesting in Western Australia.

The Stormwater Theme will run for the full day on 14th March and SIA members are able to receive discounted tickets for this day.Alternatively stormies may be interested in attending the full IPWEA conference which runs 14-16 March.
