The Burswood Peninsula Draft district framework has recently been released for public comment.

The framework outlines the new vision for the Burswood Peninsula, which proposes the development of urban centres similar to those at Melbourne's Docklands and Sydney's Pyrmont-Ultimo, and includes the creation of two high-density inner city neighbourhoods focused on Burswood and Belmont Park railway stations.

Residents, community groups and local businesses are encouraged to provide feedback on the document by Friday July 30, 2010. It is available for download from the PlanningWA website - http://www.planning.wa.gov.au/comment or phone 9264 7777.
